Parallel universes? A glitch in the matrix? Time travel?

Matt points out that there was a Snow White movie titled "Mirror Mirror" even though the Disney movie line was, "Magic mirror on the wall..." Disney did not originate Snow White. Snow White is a German folk tale (although there are versions from other cultures). There is no "original" version of the story in German. Even if there were, there would be no "one true" translation in English with "the correct" wording of the line. Jack Zipes, folklorist (and professor emeritus at the University of Minnesota) used the phrase, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall" in his 1987 translation.
